Cedar City Business Expo, May 9 & 10

The expo will take place May 9 & 10 at the SUU Sharwan Smith Center. The expo will be opened 2:30-7 p.m. on Friday, May 9 and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.

“How to Avoid Legal and Tax Scams -
Saving Time, Money and Taxes!"

May 8 Luncheon features Mark Kohler

The Cedar City Area Chamber of Commerce and Zions Bank will present Mark Kohler, a local attorney, certified public accountant, entrepreneur, instructor and published author at the chamber’s May 8 luncheon. The luncheon will take place at noon at Holiday Inn Express, 1555 South Old Highway 91 in Cedar City.

Kohler will discuss “How to Avoid Legal and Tax Scams – Saving Time, Money, and Taxes!”

Kohler recently published “Lawyers are Liars: The Truth About Protecting Our Assets.” He has owned many businesses since high school. Currently, Mark’s principal career is as a partner in the law firm Kyler, Kohler & Ostermiller, LLP, and the accounting and tax-planning firm Kohler & Eyre, CPAs, LLP. He is also partner in Investor Quality Title in Cedar City. Kohler specializes in business- estate and tax planning, and real estate asset protection and tax planning He owns several commercial real estate projects.

Kerry Christensen to Perform at Family Fest
Kerry Christensen is not your typical yodeler. You will hear cowboy, alpine, cajun, Latin, Jewish, Hawaiian, jazz, classical, and his always popular humorous yodeling renditions. His concerts and events this year will take him to as many as 23 US states and two or three countries internationally.
Kerry recently lent his unique classical yodeling talent to a full-length Disney animated feature, "Home on the Range."
